Privacy and children's data

Who sees what, where your data lives, and how to export or delete it.

Who sees what

  • Your boards are only seen by you and the people you share them with.
  • Your Kitty Jar is seen by you and the other grown-up in your family.
  • A child's Kitty Jar, prizes and approvals are seen only by that child and their grown-ups.
  • Friends see only the boards you share with them. Never your family kitty, prizes or approvals.

These rules are enforced by our database for every request, not just hidden in the app.

Children's accounts

  • No email address. A grown-up adds the child, and their device is set up with a one-time code and a PIN.
  • Children can only share boards with their own grown-ups, and can't use Help me.
  • No ads, no profiling, no nudges to spend money.

Where your data lives

In the UK: our database runs in London. We never sell your data and never show ads.

Help me and AI

When a grown-up uses Help me, the card or brain dump they ask about is sent to Claude, from Anthropic, to write the answer. Nothing is sent unless you use Help me.

Export or delete

  • Settings, Your data, Download my data gives you a copy of everything in your account.
  • Delete my account deletes your account, your boards and your Kitty Jar. Children only you look after are deleted too. It can't be undone.
